"The Heroes Haven is a peer to peer support program designed and implemented by Veterans for Veterans. The program is advised and guided by professional therapists and counselors alongside experienced combat Veterans and professionals at arms who have lived with suicide and post traumatic stress. Our program is aimed at addressing trauma. Whether that trauma was experienced in childhood, on the battlefield, or anytime we address that. It is a closed container and a purposeful space that we enter to help one another as peers and friends. Trauma effects everyone, Our families and friends, Our true selves and the people that meet us in between. It is our belief that you and they are worth it and we have come back for you."
MILITARY MOBILITY is a non-profit organization specializing in suicide prevention and increasing health and wellness through off-road expeditions and resiliency training for veterans in need.
Our Mission is to put veterans back in a team environment which fosters camaraderie, trust, and inspires the realization that any challenge—no matter how great—can be overcome.
We also provide professional development to aid in career advancement as well as valuable tools for transitioning or retired veterans.
MILITARY MOBILITY identified an unmet need to create an inspirational home for higher learning amongst the veteran community and believe in providing opportunity and instruction where motivated individuals can:
Jumpstart Passion
Fuel Teamwork
Navigate Uncertainty
Gain Traction in Leadership
Align Strategic Goals
Recover Potential
This is NOT just another trail ride. Once at our austere base camp, veterans are taught resiliency, grit, leadership, and team building techniques. Then they are assigned roles and responsibilities and provided real world opportunities to apply the principles into action. The team will lead, manage, problem solve, and achieve mission success.
Our carefully planned expeditions instill confidence, purposefulness, adaptability, and social support to build resilience. This amazing experience offers massive opportunities for positive transformational growth.
