Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

Aims at preparing graduates to handle the computers in large industries. Students will be trained in the latest trends of Application Development, Programming Languages and Database Management. PGDCA equips students with skills required for high-end applications in IT.

Eligibility

1. The duration of Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Science & Applications (P.G.D.C.A.) course shall be one year. The examination will be conducted at the end of the academic year on such dates as may be fixed by the syndicate.

2. The minimum qualifications for the course shall be :

i) Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com. / B.C.A.) or equivalent with at least 50% marks under 10+2+3 system of examination.

OR

ii) B.Tech. / B.E.

OR

iii) Any other examination recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent to (i) and (ii) above.

3. The medium of instruction and examination shall be English.

4. In order to qualify in the examination the candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in Theory and Practical separately.
