Registration and Welcome: 9:00am

• All participants must meet at the Yacht Club on Saturday morning.  The Yacht Club is on the seafront, just across the level train crossing from the village square.

Workshops: 9:30am-12noon

All workshops will focus on teaching and learning by ear.

• Julie's workshop will consist of learning songs from the Welsh folk song tradition (rather than choral tradition). She will explore folk songs in both Welsh and English, and learning will be by ear as a group. The workshop is open to all and no experience of the Welsh language is necessary.

Lunch: 12noon-1:30pm (Group photo @1:15!)

Workshops: 1:45-2:45pm

• Ceri's workshop is open to all instruments and will focus on learning tunes from Welsh traditions by ear.

Workshops: 3:00-4:00pm

Dinner Break: 4:00-7:00pm

• A break for people to rest and grab some food before the evening events. 

Gala Concert: 7:00-9:00pm (doors 6:30pm)

• The Gala Concert is always the highlight of the Festival. This year we again present performances by some of the finest traditional musicians in Ireland and Wales. All of our guest performers will take the stage, and there's always the possibility of surprise musicians appearing as well. Doors will open at 6:30 and the concert will start at 7pm so don't be late!

Morning Beach Walk: 9:30am

• Optional group walk for the early risers (TBC depending on tides and weather). Meet at the River Towy Yacht Club, Ferryside, SA17 5SF. 

Gentle Session: 10:00am

• The Yacht Club will be open from 10am with teas and coffees, and a chance to play a few gentle Sunday morning tunes. River Towy Yacht Club, Ferryside, SA17 5SF. 

Festival Lecture: Uilleann Pipes Recordings: A History - 11:00am-12:00pm

• Emmett Gill will present a lecture on some of the earliest commercial recordings of Irish piping. Beginning with wax cylinders recordings from 1898 and then moving into 78rpm era of the 1920s and 1930s, this is a great opportunity to hear and discuss some rare recordings of some of the earliest pipers on record. 

Solo Piping Recital : 12:00-1:00pm 

Closing Seafront Session: 2:00-4:00pm
