Information for Faculty

Faculty, please encourage undergraduate students to participate in research in your lab. Especially if your research is related to one of the 14 Grand Challenges. If you are interested in helping to further develop the Grand Challenge Scholars Program or as serving as a departmental representative please contact Dr. Robertson.

One of the biggest challenges students face when joining the program is finding a mentor. Each student in the program is required to have at least one faculty mentor. If you are approached by a potential Grand Challenge Scholar student please help them to learn the lay of the land in your departments and direct them to faculty members who may have similar interest and would be good mentors.
