WHAT PRODUCTS DOES THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVER
UhuruChat is an all-in-one social media and communication platform that provides chatting, messaging, voice, audio, video, market and relationship services. With the UhuruChat platform, some of the features you will see and that users will be able to use are the Chat, Marketplace, Flying, Channel, Dating, Music, etc.
DATA WE COLLECT
There are three main categories of information we collect from you when you use our platform.
Personal data and information you provide us
To use UhuruChat, you are required to create and open an account. In so doing you will be required to provide certain information ranging from personal, location and payment information. We may collect
personal information, such as name, address, email, phone number, and job title, from customers, and employees. We may also collect personal information from third-party sources, such as service providers and business partners.
Personal Accounts. To create a personal account, you must provide certain information in order to have access to services offered in our platform. This includes the name your full names and your displayed name, username, password, email address, phone number, date of birth, language, third- party information if any, location, payment information for certain paid services on the platform.
Professional Accounts. Our platform allows you to create and open a professional account. In this instance, we will require you to provide your professional category, location, email address, business or professional contact information, payment information which must include credit or debit card information, expiry date, CVV code, billing address and other professional and business details that may be collected at the discretion of the platform.
Payment Information: This platform offers paid services, products and advertisements (ads). This means we will ask for your payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address.
Information we collect when you use UhuruChat
When you use platform,we collect information about how you use our products and services. We use that information to tailor the kinds of services and products best meet your needs. Those information also assist us in ensuring our platform is relevant, safe, secure, healthy and respectful for our customers. The type of information we collect include:
Usage and Content Information. We collect information about your identity, activity, frequency and duration on our platform from content, communications, messages, interactions with other users, location, photos, images. It can also include unique features through your use of our camera, videos, streaming services, marketplaces, links that interact with across our platform, including in emails. To goal is to use these information and data to enhance your experience, offer tips and analyze habits, etc.
Network, Connections and Device Data. We collect information about everything you do on our platform from people, pages, services, accounts, subscribers, sub-pages that you connect and interact with across our platforms, products. We collect information on your uploads, videos, purchases, imports and synchronization, calls, call logs and SMS history. We also collect information about your device, computers, laptops or tablets, phones, TVs and other web-based services, connections, such as IP address, GPS locations, cookies, browser type and history, device settings, device advertising ID, operating system, carrier, language, memory, apps that are installed in your device and batter usage, address book if you have chosen to share such with us.

When you engage with third party online services in the course of using our platform, there is real likelihood they will share that usage with our system. Conversely, these partners may receive your data when visit, interact or use their services or through authorized third parties they work with from time to time. Operations, Personalized Products and Services and Optimized Improvement
As indicated, we use the information collected from you to operate UhuruChat platform products and services. We use the information we collect to improve our products and services and optimize your usage and experience on UhuruChat. We do this by showing you more tailored and relevant contents, ads, services, products, preferences and interests based on the data we collect and, in the process, helps us learn about you and the things that matter to you. We also use information we gathered and collected to measure the effectiveness of ads and to help recognize your devices to serve you ads on and off of UhuruChat. Some of our ad and third party partners also enable us to collect similar information directly from their website or app by integrating our advertising technology with theirs. We use the information we have (including your activity off our Products, such as the websites you visit and ads you see) to help advertisers and other partners measure the effectiveness and distribution of their ads and services and understand the types of people who use their services and how people interact with their websites, apps, and services.
Ensure safety, integrity and security.
We use the information we gather to verify users, accounts and activity, ensure safety, integrity and security in our platforms, combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences, maintain the integrity of our products and services. For example, we use data we have to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our terms or policies, or to detect when someone needs help.

When you create, post, communicate and share
When you engage in our platform by creating, posting and sharing, you are responsible for the things you post or comment on and the audience, people and users you decide to share them with it. When you post on UhuruChat, you choose the audience. Examples of audiences are friends, users, groups, the public or select, customized or unique group of people, including businesses. All of these people can see the content you engage with such as ads and sponsored contents, what you send, the actions you take with respect to our platform services and products.
Contents created, shared or reshared by others
It is important that you carefully consider who you choose to share contents with. This is because people, including businesses can see your interactions, engagement and activities on wide range of issues, such as our services and products. They can also choose to share them with other users, including third parties. They can also download, screen shot, reshare, forward and save contents from you throughout our platform. People can also use the services and products in our platform to create, post and share content about you with any audience they choose to engage. Things that can be share about you include photos, stories, tags, mentions, locations. If you have any concerns about who can or cannot see the things post or share, please use your settings appropriately to make these decisions.
Sharing with third parties, Apps and third-party integrations using our platforms
When you engage or use third-party websites, apps, or other products or services that use, or are integrated with, our products, they may receive information about what you post, create, share or reshare.
Sharing with service providers. We reserve the rights to share the information and content your create or provide to service providers and vendors who support our business, provide technical and system services to our platform, network, and to those who analyze how our products are used, provided to customer service, ensure payments, conduct surveys and optimize our services and delivery. Who also share information with those who support and facilitate our payment services, as well as those who work around the clock to ensure to ensure our systems and infrastructure integrity, detect frauds and analyze risks and provides mitigation strategies and tools.
Sharing with Advertisers. Revenues from advertisers are our primary sources of income and enables us to provide our products and services. It is important to stress that under no circumstances do we share information which identifies you personally. Third-party content & integrations and measurements. With your consent and permission, including providing us with third party website and application authorizations we disclose your information to them. Many of these third parties help us provide, improve and optimize our services and products for your. It is important to advise that we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or information. We also impose legally binding strict restrictions on how and when our partners may use and disclose the information or report we provide to them. Sharing through Application Programming Interface (APIs). APIs are critical for modern software development, enabling and ensuring the ability of applications to communicate and interact with each other, while facilitating the creation of new, innovative and cutting-edge technologies and services. We use APIs and its associated embeds to ensure UhuruChat and the different services and products if offered are made public and available to websites, apps, and others for their use, for example, displaying posts and items on a news website, channels or analyzing people’s behaviour and what they say across our platform services and products. While as a general rule, make this content available in limited numbers for free and charge licensing fees for large-scale access, we generate revenues as well since our platform is built to sustain its operation from the revenues generated through our platform. We have implemented standard terms that govern how this information can be used, and a compliance program to enforce these terms. But these individuals and companies may not be affiliated with UhuruChat, and their offerings may not reflect updates you make on UhuruChat. Our operations is global – operations, transfer and sharing information. UhuruChat is built to operate globally and in different international jurisdictions. It is therefore likely we will share your data and information globally, both internally within our platforms, but externally with third parties, our partners and with those you connect with engage and share data with around the world in pursuant to this policy and service terms. It is to be expected that your information will from time to time be transmitted or transferred to, stored and/or processed in Canada, the United States or other countries outside of normal place of
abode for purposes enumerated in our policy and service terms. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services and products our platform offers in order to operate globally, and to provide and services and products to you in a manner that ensures the best of our user experience. We share information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests. We may preserve, use, share, or disclose your information if we conclude that it is reasonably necessary and in the public interest to:

Detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorized use of the platform products and services, violations of our service terms or policies, or other harmful or illegal activity;

DATA RETENTION AND LENGTH

Examples include search engines, cookies and other third parties and partners may also retain copies of your posts, creations, comments, uploads longer in accordance with their own privacy policies, even after they are purged from UhuruChat. It is important to bear in mind that when you violate our rules and your account is suspended, we may keep the markers and identifiers you used in creating the account (i.e., email address or phone number) for as long as it takes to prevent repeat service terms and policy offenders from creating new accounts;
As a general rule, we will keep certain information longer than our policies specify in order to comply with legal requirements, for safety and security reasons and if generally in the public interest.
MANAGE, ACCESS AND CONTROL YOUR DATA
UhuruChat take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We limit access to personal information to authorized employees and third-party service providers who need to know the information to perform their duties. We regularly review and update our security measures to ensure they are effective and appropriate.
You have the right and ability to access, delete or change your settings so you are effectively in charge of your data and determine what you choose to provide to us.
Access, corrections and portability. It is your right and responsibility to access, modify and correct the personal information and data you have provided to us. You do this by through your profile, settings and adjustment features, where applicable. You may also send a request to us to access additional information. You can also download a copy of your information by following the appropriate instructions or directions. In these instances, it is important to advise that in order to protect your privacy and ensure security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your personal information or complying with a deletion, portability, or other related request. Please be advised that there are situation in which we may and must, in certain situations, reject your request for access, correction, or portability, for example, we may reject access where you are unable to verify your identity.
Deleting your information and account. We provide you with the tools and information to delete your information and account. It is important to note that when you delete your account, we also take steps to delete your information, including the things you have created, posted, shared, reshared or communicated on our platform. There may be circumstances when you may be able to restore your account following deletion or deactivation. If you request that we delete your account or content, it may take up to 90 days to delete your information after we begin the account deletion process or receive a content deletion request. After the information is deleted, it may take us up to another 90 days to remove it from backups and disaster recovery. Be advised that there are instances in which we may preserve your information based on the legitimate governmental or legal requests as well as when it is in the public interest even after you request deletion of your account or some of your content. We may also preserve information from accounts that have been disabled and content that has been removed for violations of our terms and policies.

Our services are not directed to children, You may not use our platform products and services if you are under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.You must also be age appropriate and of a consenting age to give permissions to the use and processing of your personal data in your country. Some countries laws, statutes and policies allow parents and guardians to provide the required consent on your behalf.
