Major: Mechanical Engineering, Physics
Minor: Math
Why Did You Choose This Major/Minor?
Mechanical engineering and physics are the backbone of aerospace engineering endeavors like deep space travel. I want to challenge myself and be devoted to a noble cause. I believe that as the world makes discoveries and advancements in space exploration, they will translate to how we can improve our circumstances as humans.

Looks like a lot. But you don’t have to attend every event to gain or give valuable experience, especially as a non officer member haha. College groups do a great job at doing a lot and not requiring much so that you can balance.
Favorite Genre of Music?
Favorite Artist?
I’m constantly listening to the 2010 hits man. I also just open YouTube, type “white girl music” and the jam sesh begins.
Favorite Movie?
Just watched an absolute banger movie called Kung Fu Hustle. Hilarious. But mostly enjoy feel good family comedy/adventure movies like Madagascar, Rio, Cars, etc.
Current Hobbies/Activities?
Love hanging with the Terrys! I’m all over soccer and basketball. I enjoy watching movies and playing games with friends. I also love to play my trombone
Long Term Goals?
Well this is a big question. Haha. I hope to be an aerospace engineer and space architect for future space exploration endeavors. I am specifically interested in electric propulsion, artificial gravity, and deployable space structures. I came into college also wanting to throw intellectual property law onto this so I could work my way to become a representative and trailblazer for NASA and its endeavors as well. Also, to be on the frontier of international/space law just sounded awesome. I’m not sure I am hard set on fulfilling this because I would also love to challenge myself with a PhD in physics so that I can be equipped to educate the next generation (as an old man, end of career haha.) Between my bachelors and potential professorship, I would love to learn how to fly a plane and travel the world as well as I’ve never done either. I definitely see myself pursuing multiple jobs for multiple reasons throughout my life. Outside of my career, I hope that I can give back and help my home town school district thrive in STEM education. I also hope that the scholarship my friends and I have started will be able to cover the full cost of attendance for our recipient, or even multiple scholars.
Why Do you Want to be a Mentor?
Enthusiasm for the college experience. Course advising. Friendship 😎 A connection to the other upperclassmen. I enjoy giving back and contribuiting to growth, and I understand that sometimes direction is all people need to grow.
How do You Feel You Would Help Your Mentee?
I believe I could help my mentee get excited about opportunities and pursue them. I am willing to host study sessions when necessary to get work done together and offer any tutoring I can. I am willing to attend events with my mentee so they feel comfortable entering a new environment, even if the event is not related to my interests or goals. Besides this, I am of course willing to do fun activities to welcome and befriend them 😄
What Advice Would you Give to An Incoming Terry?
Terry scholars are too good at making UH feel like a second home. Bring your values with you and the rest will follow. Don’t be afraid to reach out because it’s likely whatever you are experiencing has been experienced by someone before you. We are a family and here to help!
Choose One Movie Quote to Live By. What Would it Be?
“"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”
- Master Oogway, Kung Fu Panda
Mmm bars man. I take it as a reminder to acknowledge the good times of today and to be intentional with our time.
