Regular Weekly Teams (after school/Saturday mornings)
Sports are played weekly through two associations (SAAS & SACSSGSA), with registration per season ranging between $115 and $150. Unley regularly enters teams for Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, Volleyball, Soccer, AFL, Tennis & Indoor Soccer. Other sports are also available, and teams are nominated based on student interest and nominations.
During School Hours
Knockout Sport, Carnivals and School Sport SA Championships are run during school hours, with costs varying from $20-$30. Teams and competitors catch hired buses to and from their events/matches.
Knockout Sport run by School Sport SA is the state-wide elite competition, where state champion schools are crowned. Unley will enter teams depending on interest and ability.
Unley also competes in several "Come & Try" Carnivals run by various sporting associations. These are often fun "come and try" type of events for sports like Beach Volleyball and Golf as well as more niche sports such as Surfing, Handball, Ten Pin Bowling and Ultimate Frisbee. These are dependent on student interest.
There are also School Sport SA Championships, involving Athletics, Triathlon, Cycling, and Tennis.

Red Card Conditions
Umpires and referees have the authority to temporarily or permanently remove players for serious offences.
A Red Card means the player is immediately sent off and cannot return for the rest of the match.
Players shown a Red Card are not permitted to remain in the playing arena, including the coaches’ box or interchange bench.
Red Card offences are reportable and will be documented.
The Report Card is submitted to the player’s Sports Coordinator, who reviews and signs it before forwarding it to the Principal.
The Principal will determine appropriate action and communicate this to the opposing school and the sporting organisation.
Be aware: The image below outlines the Disciplinary Framework that will be used for all UHS sporting competitions. This framework sets out the sanctions for verbal offences, offensive gestures, and physical contact offences.
