University High School Cheerleading is currently a Coed squad made up of 40 athletes. We are a varsity and JV team that cheers for football, volleyball, basketball, and wrestling. Our team also cheers at a number of games for the school's Unified football and basketball program. We take pride in our community involvement by volunteering at events like Hoop Fest, Fun Runs, and CVSD events. We hold all of our athletes to a high standard when it comes to academics, as well as being positive leaders to their peers. This year will mark our fourth year as a competitive team. We are planning to attend several competitions this winter, where we will compete in the Game Day and Traditional Coed Division. We are always working to improve our program but pride ourselves not only on our skill set but also on our spirit and pride for our Central Valley Community.
