Dr. Juhee Kim is an environmental engineer who cares deeply about protecting water and soil. Dr. Kim began my academic journey in Korea, where she developed a strong interest in the environmental chemistry of contaminants. She later continued my research at Georgia Tech, and she is now at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she leads a research group focused on understanding and controlling the transformation of pollutants in water and soil.
