Enter your UCard number, ZIP code, and date of birth.
Create or sign in with your HealthSafe ID.
Confirm your personal details and submit activation.
Wait for the “Your UCard is Activated” message on the screen.
Start using your UCard benefits, OTC credits, and rewards immediately.
UCard Number – You can find it on the front of your UCard.
Date of Birth (DOB) – Needed to confirm your identity.
ZIP Code – Your home ZIP code registered with UHC.
HealthSafe ID Login – If you don’t have one, you can create it during activation.
Mobile Number or Email – Used to receive verification codes (OTP).
Stable Internet Connection – Helps avoid errors or failed activation attempts.
Your UHC Plan Information – Such as Medicare, Dual Complete, Advantage, or UCard plan type.
Open your browser and go to activate.uhc.com.
Enter your UCard number exactly as shown on the card.
Type your ZIP code and date of birth for identity verification.
Click on “Continue” to move to the next screen.
Sign in with your HealthSafe ID, or create a new one if you don’t have it.
Review your personal details and confirm everything is correct.
Tap on “Activate Card” to complete the process.
Wait for the confirmation message saying your UCard is now active.
After activation, you can use your UCard for OTC items, rewards, grocery benefits, and health services.
Website Not Opening: Refresh the page, try another browser, or wait a few minutes.
Details Not Matching: Check your date of birth, ZIP code, and UCard number again.
Login Problems: Use “Forgot Password” or create a new HealthSafe ID.
Activate Button Not Working: Clear your browser cache or use incognito mode.
Card Already Activated: Log in to your UHC account to check the activation status.
Code Not Received: Check your spam folder or click “Resend Code.”
Browser Issues: Use the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
Find the phone number on the back of your UCard (Customer Service or Activation Line).
Call the number from your mobile or landline phone.
When the automated system starts, choose the option for “Card Activation.”
The system will ask you to enter your:
UCard number
Date of birth
ZIP code
After entering your details, wait for confirmation.
The system will tell you, “Your UCard is now activated.”
You can now use your UCard for benefits, OTC items, rewards, and more.
