Fifteen officers are elected from within the Department’s doctoral and master’s programs each fall and spring. All political science graduate students are eligible for office, and the Council encourages all to run for a position.

The Council is always looking for graduate students that would like to help us in our efforts. Whether you have a spare hour to plan events or want to propose constitutional amendments, PSGSC has a place for you.

ATTEND EVENTS

PSGSC hosts events on-campus and in the Gainesville community. Events are a great opportunity for graduate students, significant others, and faculty to socialize, discuss research, and to connect with the local community. If you enjoy casual conversations, fun, and fresh air, our events may be perfect for you.

SHOP AND DONATE

Donations to the Council and purchases of political science merchandise aid us in our goal of representing and promoting the interests of graduate students, facilitating the sharing of ideas and research, and hosting events, including recruitment and orientation socials.
