UFO Hunter is a mobile application developed by Tayfun Baş. This Privacy Policy explains how UFO Hunter collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.

Users may choose to provide an observation location for UFO/UAP reports or map-based features. Location information is used to show reports and related events on maps. Users can choose not to provide location information.
Notifications
UFO Hunter may collect device notification tokens to send push notifications about UFO reports, news, announcements, events, earthquakes, solar activity, geomagnetic activity, ISS passes, and other sky or space-related alerts.
App Settings
The app may store user preferences such as language, theme, notification settings, minimum earthquake magnitude, solar flare notification threshold, and other app configuration choices.
Technical and Usage Data
The app may use third-party services such as Firebase, Google Maps, and related platform services. These services may process device information, diagnostics, crash logs, or usage-related technical data needed to provide and improve the app.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and operate UFO Hunter features
- Allow users to create and view UFO/UAP reports
- Display posts, comments, announcements, events, books, films, news, maps, and sky-related data
- Upload and display user-submitted photos and videos
- Send push notifications based on user preferences
- Improve app reliability, safety, and performance
- Protect the app from abuse, spam, or unauthorized activity
- Provide community and educational features related to UFO/UAP sightings and sky observation
3. Sharing of Information
UFO Hunter does not sell personal information.
Some user-generated content, such as public reports, posts, comments, photos, videos, and map markers, may be visible to other users depending on the visibility settings chosen by the user.
We may share or process data through trusted third-party service providers used to operate the app, including Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Maps, and related infrastructure services.

UFO Hunter uses cloud-based services such as Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Google Maps-related services.
We take reasonable measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. User Control and Data Deletion
Users may manage their profile, content, and notification settings inside the app where available.
