• High-temperature superconductivity in cuprates and Fe-based superconductors

-  Interplay among lattice, magnetism, and high-temperature superconductivity in pnictide and cuprate superconductors

-  Nematic instability and phase transitions in the vicinity of superconductivity

-  High-temperature superconductivity in cuprates accessing from parent materials, Mott insulators

• Ultrafast dynamics in strongly correlated systems such as high-temperature superconductors and spin/charge density waves materials

• New phenomena in heterostructures

• Size dependence of superconductivity in nanoclusters

• Doping-dependent evolution of strongly correlated electron systems especially on the verge between a band insulator/metal and a Mott insulator

• Ferroelectrics, ferro-/antiferro-magnetism, multiferroics

• Low dimensional systems with electron correlation: Excitonic behaviors in one dimensional Mott insulator
