The Infantry Massif Uniform (IMU) is a ballistic combat shirt made by the UFGC in 2027 to phase out the aging US military OCP uniforms. The uniform has soft plates slid into it in the frontal areas, the back and the sides made to block out shrapnel, and externally the uniform has the Arid Multi Terrain Pattern or AMTP. The IMU is used in arid conditions and so is the primary uniform for the UFGC's western and southern forces.

The Infantry Battle Uniform is the first uniform system developed by the UFGC in 2026 made to replace the old US military ACU's and BDU's and to increase a soldier's comfort in the harsh climate of the Post-Skyfall west, being somewhat warmer. The IBU has largely been replaced by the IMU in arid conditions but is still used in the east and by less important UFGC formations.
