Mars Rover Landing Sequence

During the Fall of 2022, my numerical methods class was assigned a semester long project to develop and optimize a Mars rover and Entry, Decent, and Landing (EDL) module with the end goal of landing on Mars and completing a mission of driving 1000 meters. Through this project, I strengthened my knowledge of Python, learned numerical methods such as numerical integration, derivation, root finding, solving ODE IVPs, Gaussian Elimination, and Optimization techniques.
