University of Delaware Club Gymnastics Bylaws

1.) All members must make payment via IMLeagues prior to attendance of practice and other related events.
2.) Members may purchase practice bundles for discount. Practices not used by the end of the semester will roll over from the fall to spring semester, but will not transfer to the next year.
3.) Members must participate for the majority two hours of practice/lifts in order for it to count towards [members’] monthly total.
a. Members may count practices and lift that they attend late with valid excuses and proof (e.g. class and religious obligations).
4.) There is a minimum practice and lift requirement for competitive members as outlined monthly by Executive Board.
5.) All competitive members must actively participate in fundraising efforts.
6.) All competitive members must shows skills and be approved by the Executive Board prior to competition.
7.) The Executive Board will be voted on yearly by a written ballot with at least 3/4 of the entire team present.
a. Members NOT present are unable to vote (with the exception of those studying abroad).
8.) To run for the position of President, members must have served on the Executive Board in some capacity the previous term.
a. To hold the Treasurer and UDance representative positions, you must first hold the trainee position the year prior.
9.) Team property that is destroyed, stolen, misplaced, or damaged in any way, will be completely reimbursed by the responsible member.
10.) Members on the competition team are required to attend at least one competition and compete at least two events unless excused by the Executive Board due to extenuating circumstance.
11.) Members who have sustained injuries leading up to Nationals may attend the competition at the discretion of the Executive Board.
12.) Members that are not currently studying at the Newark, DE campus for either the fall or spring semester will not be eligible to attend Nationals that school year.
13.) Members may only compete at Nationals a maximum of four times. A fifth attendance may be voted on at the discretion of the Executive Board.
14.) Members must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner both inside and outside of the gym in order to be a member in good standing.
15.) The Executive Board reserves the right to revoke membership due to misconduct of any of the above bylaws through a unanimous vote.
16.) The Executive Board obtains the right to remove any board member (immediate or chair) through a unanimous vote.
