Services &  Recharge Rates

Genomics Institute staff are available to support selected projects organization-wide.  We use the campus recharge system to recover costs for the services we provide by charging back costs to your department.

HOW RECHARGE WORKS

No currency is exchanged. This system uses the same interface used by many others on our campus, and so you may already be familiar with it.

Following service, PIs are charged for support and services received. Once a month, PIs who have received services will receive an auto-generated email from the recharge system, alerting them of the charges and requesting that they review the charges, confirm or provide an appropriate FOAPAL, and approve.  This provides an opportunity to discuss or reject charges before they occur.
