Research Assistant

The research assistants' involvement includes running experiments, preparing stimuli, coding, and data entry. You will receive one unit for every 3 hours that you work in the lab.

In addition to the department requirement, we are looking for students who are interested in working in our lab at least 2 quarters (and preferably more).

Please make sure that you meet the requirements for enrolling in Psych 99/199:

• To enroll in Psych 199, a student must be a full Psychology or Biopsychology major and have upper division standing. All other students must enroll in Psych 99.

• Students must have a 3.0 average cumulative GPA for the last three quarters. Summer quarter is not included in the calculation of the GPA.

• Students must be enrolled at UCSB for at least one quarter before they can enroll in Psych 99 or 199.

• All students must enroll in their first quarter of Psych 99 or 199 for P/NP grading option, and in subsequent quarters for letter grades.
