Who Should Apply

• All are welcome and encouraged to apply, but we do have some preferred qualifications worth your consideration, including:
  • 3.0 GPA or better
  • Sophomore standing or above
  • Interest in working with and/or coming from an underserved or underrepresented population
  • Leadership experience
  • Post-baccalaureate, gap-year, and graduate students are encouraged to apply for coordinator roles
  • Applicants who demonstrate:
    • Ambition, adaptability, creativity, and persistence
    • A desire to impact patients' lives
    • An inherent desire to learn more about healthcare

How to Apply

We are excited to learn more about our applicants and welcome new members to the team. The application process is simple:

Step 2: If invited, join us for one of our weekly meetings and an interview on Mondays from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

The deadline to apply for the Fall semester has passed. Spring and summer applicants are still welcome to apply.

Next Steps

If you are invited to become part of UCHL you will be required to complete an onboarding process. This process may take several weeks to complete, and volunteers must complete ALL tasks prior to training. For details we encourage you to visit the Applicant/Onboarding Checklist.
