We offer postdoctoral fellows, visiting students and scholars with a great opportunity to work in a high-quality academic environment building on the unique medical and engineering strengths of University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois; Emory University School of Medicine and Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
We currently have multiple postdoctoral research associate positions available. We are considering candidates for multiple projects that include, but are not limited to, the following: image-guided radiotherapy (brachytherapy); multimodality imaging for cancer radiotherapy; quantitative imaging biomarker development; and advanced image analysis algorithm development and clinical applications.
Successful applicants will work under the supervision of the principal investigator and will collaborate with other researchers, physicists, clinicians, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students.
We are seeking self-motivated candidates with a research interest or background in machine/deep learning, medical imaging, medical physics, image processing, computer programming, and applications of engineering tools for medical and healthcare applications. Experience in medical image segmentation, classification and registration is highly desirable. Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Matlab are required.
