Our Assembly is UCF’s annual fall showcase of Asian American organizations on Campus. This year typically attracts around 200-300 attendees composed of student body members, community members, and individuals within our regional network. It is one of the many events that APAC hosts to unite the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American community and gives our affiliate organizations a chance to demonstrate their cultural pride through dance performances, historical skits, and more. As it is the very first fall showcase among the community, this event is special to many as it is the introductory event into the thriving APIDA organizations on campus, where attendees are delighted by the cultural explosion of organizations like ISA Knight Raas, FSA Dance Troupe, and more.
In respect to COVID19 and the dangers of social events, Assembly has been moved to the Spring 21 semester. Please check back for more updates!
The APAC Unity Wars is an annual event meant to bring out sportsmanship, community, and team building. Individuals and/or Teams may sign up to represent their affiliated orgs and compete to take home the title, though individuals may also be recognized with honor and prizes as well!
During the month of March-April, the APIDA community at UCF meets together as the APAHM Council to create programming in honor of our cultural heritage. Council members represent their respective organizations and are recommended by their Presidents.
APAHM is a special month long celebration also recognizing the achievements of the APIDA organizations on campus, with awards distributed during the Hidden Lotus Awards Ceremony to finish off the festivities. Awards recognize Organizations and Individual Officers for their contributions to the community and are deliberated by a panel of student leaders from the Multicultural Student Center, the APAHM Committee, and the APAC Board.
In collaboration with different RSO's on campus, our Coffeeshop Talks are held regularly every month to highlight different APIDA issues around campus. Previous topics have included:
On AntiBlackness w/ FSA

...and more!
