Rachel Van Etten is a 1st year Ph.D. in Criminal Justice student at the University of Cincinnati. Rachel received her B.A. in Communications and Culture from the City University of New York, her M.B.A. in Marketing from Pepperdine University, and her M.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. Rachel's current research interest include criminal career pathways, juvenile engagement in cyberextortion and ransomware, corporate cybervictimization and data protection and privacy. Rachel's work has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Federal Sentencing Reporter.
