Cooper A. Maher is an assistant professor at Michigan State University in the School of Criminal Justice and research affiliate at the UC CYBORG. His research areas of interest center upon four areas: 1) understanding victimization risk, 2) victim decision making, 3) victimization consequences, and 4) fear of crime. His research investigating these themes focuses on cybercrime and cyber-enabled crime, particularly online fraud and identity theft.
