Brandon is a second year Ph.D. student and Provost Fellow at the University of Cincinnati. He received his B.A. in psychology and criminal justice from the University of Washington - Tacoma in 2021 and went on to receive his M.A. in criminal justice from Seattle University in 2023. Brandon's research interests include community-police relations, problem-oriented policing, crime and place, police interrogation practices, and ideological extremism. His work has focused on bridging the gap between police and the communities they serve, as well as promoting procedurally just policing practices. Brandon's interests in ideological extremism aim to understand how groupthink influences violent behavior and how extremist ideas are disseminated. Brandon's work has been published in Police Practice and Research.
