LOOK: Museum Management Training for HEls: Transforming University Museums as Sites of Cultural Education and Creativity Tourism Destinations (Year 2).

In 2019, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) approved the project, Museum Management Training for HEls: Transforming University Museums as Sites of Cultural Education and Creativity Tourism Destinations through the Study in the Philippines Program (StudyPH. EduTourism) and with funding allocation from CHED's Building the Internationalization Competitiveness of Philippine Project.

This project aims to gather educators and leaders of higher education institutions (HEls) to increase their knowledge and appreciation towards university museums. In addition, the project intends to provide technical assistance to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in improving their museums to become centers for cultural learning and tourist destinations. Year 1 (Levels 1-3) was implemented in 2020-2021 through a series of webinars; and currently 2021-2022 for Year 2 (Levels 1-3) for the face-to-face training. The project convened more than 1100 participants all over the Philippines.

Ang Pambansang Komisyon para sa Kultura at mga Sining ay nakiki-isa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Kasaysayan ngayong buong buwan ng Agosto alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Bilang 339 na nilagdaan noong 2012.

Ngayong taon, ang Buwan ng Kasaysayan ay isinasagawa temang “Kasaysayan, Kamalayan, Kaunlaran” (History, Consciousness, Development) sa pangunguna ng Pambansang Komisyong Pangkasaysayan ng Pilipinas o National Historical Commission of the Philippines. Layon ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon na tignan ang kasaysayan at ang pag-aaral nito bilang paraan ng pagpapaunlad ng lipunan.
