The Animal Health Unit is looking to hire a summer student $20/hr. 

• Variable hours 30 -35 per week (M–F 8 am – 4 pm), depending on workload. 

• Successful applicant would assist staff with basic animal husbandry and cage processing for all animals within our main campus facility (LESARC). Observe and assist in any diagnostic, experimental or surgical procedures undertaken by the veterinarian staff.

• Great position for any pre-veterinary students wishing to gain experience in animal care/research.

Summer Research Assistant needed for the Pajor Lab at UCVM. 

• This is a paid opportunity to participate in cattle behaviour and welfare research at W.A. Ranches and the Calgary Stampede. 

• Participates in the SURE program 

• Dates are May-August and the pay is $2400/month. 35 h/wk. 

• Must have an Alberta driver's license. No prior cattle handling experience is needed.
