Jaeseok Yun

Jaeseok Yun (Korean name, 윤재석)  is an associate professor in the Department of Internet of Things at Soonchunhyang University (SCHU, 순천향대학교), Asan, South Korea. 

Prior to his current position, he worked as a senior researcher in IoT Platform Research Center at the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI, 한국전자기술연구원), Seongnam, South Korea from September 2009 to August 2016. 

He also worked as a postdoctoral research scientist with the Ubiquitous Computing Research Group (supervised by Dr. Gregory D. Abowd) in the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology  (Georgia Tech, GA, USA) from 2006 to 2009. 

He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. (advised by Dr. Jeha Ryu and Dr. Woontack Woo) in mechatronics from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, 광주과학기술원) in 1999 and 2006, and B.S. in electronics engineering from Chonnam National University (전남대학교) in 1997. 

His research interests include ubiquitous computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and AI-enabled applications in everyday lives.
