Aron De Cesero (IT, 1995) is an architect who completed his studies at the Iuav University of Venice and ETSAM in Madrid, where he developed a strong interest in architectural composition and tectonics. After graduating, he collaborated with several architectural firms and academic professionals in Venice, while also working as a freelance architect.
His research focuses primarily on the relationship between construction materials and architectural composition, with particular attention to tectonics. He explores the interaction between architecture and the alpine environment, emphasizing the territorial and local dynamics of the wood supply chain, and the specific qualities of wood as a living and constructive material.
Marta Magnaguagno (IT, 1996)
is an architect currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Studies at Iuav University of Venice. She completed her studies at Iuav and at TU Berlin, and subsequently collaborated with several architecture firms on projects related to public spaces in Italy, and as teaching assistant at Iuav University of Venice.
Her ongoing research explores the ambiguity of economic power and how it manifests in urban space — particularly in open public spaces — through a spatial justice lens. She investigates contemporary cases of urban exclusion and their spatial language.
Her current focus is on critical mapping as a research tool and method of inquiry within the broader field of critical urbanism.
Pierluigi Recca (IT, 1994)
studied architecture at the Iuav University of Venice, the Politecnico di Milano, and ETSAM in Madrid. After completing his studies, he began working with architectural firms in Madrid and is currently practicing as a freelance architect in Milan.
Pierluigi’s interests lie in the nature of urban space and its degrees of domesticity at a small to medium scale—a topic he is further exploring through teaching assistantships in both Venice and Milan. His previous research examined the spatial and social depth of the façade and its role within the urban context, investigating how public buildings might actively contribute to the city by fostering collective engagement and enriching urban life.
