College friends turned business partners, Camelle Morta Singh, 30, and Mariel Lorens Geralde, 28, are behind Lunti and Lila Farm, the first and largest purple yam farm in the area. What started as a small 3.5-hectare plot in late 2024 has grown to include an additional 12 hectares. In just under a year, these two young agripreneurs are proving that the country’s ube industry has massive untapped potential.
