Nodding Onion is very pollinator friendly. Its bell-shaped, nodding flower clusters attract a variety of pollinators for both pollen and nectar, such as bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, soldier beetles and hoverflies.
Well-draining soil (sandy to loamy). It will tolerate clay soils and can thrive in poor soil conditions.
