UAID stands for United Against Inequities in Disease, and we are a non-profit student-led public health organization. As an organization, we aim to address health inequities in the local community through charity events and information sessions led by speakers who are directly involved with the local health inequity.
Our organization is made up of an executive and general board. The executive board is made up of the 5 official titles: President, Vice President, Director of Finance and Records, Director of Events and Marketing, and Community Project Assistants
For the 2024-2025 Year, our chapter has been working closely with the Williamsburg House of Mercy and the Williamsburg James City County SHIP program to help address food inequities and access through direct volunteer service and education. You can find out more about our community partners below.
