Student Chapter guidelines


President

The president of this student chapter is to lead and oversee the activities of the chapter. This includes organizing events, meetings, and workshops related to electrochemistry, as well as coordinating with other members and facilitating collaboration. The president is also responsible for maintaining communication with faculty mentors and the ECS Society and representing the interests of the UA student chapter. Additionally, they may be involved in promoting engagement and involvement within the electrochemistry community.

Vice President

The role of the vice president (VP) is to support and assist the president in achieving all the chapter’s goals. The VP can act as the president in his/her absence. The VP also helps coordinate and organize events, meetings, and workshops and works closely with other members of the chapter. VP may also be responsible for maintaining communication with the parent organization and representing the interests of the student chapter. Additionally, they may assist in fundraising efforts and promote engagement and involvement within the electrochemistry community.

Secretary

The secretary of this student chapter is responsible for managing the administrative tasks and records of the chapter. This includes taking minutes during meetings, keeping track of attendance, and maintaining important documents and files. The secretary also handles communication within the chapter, such as sending out meeting reminders and announcements. They may also assist in coordinating events and activities and providing support to other members of the chapter.

Treasurer

The treasurer plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the student chapter. This includes keeping track of incoming and outgoing funds, maintaining financial records, and creating and managing budgets. The treasurer also handles tasks such as paying bills and reimbursing members for approved expenses. They may also assist in fundraising efforts and financial planning for events and activities.
