VA vaccination volunteering
Vaccination volunteers is open to all residents who are already badged at the VA and they make the process pretty simple.
If you are interested in volunteering to be an observer or vaccinator (Pfizer vaccine), please contact Brianna Cowan or Alice Martanegara with your availability. The locations we need vaccination assistance are:
WLA Building 401 M-Sat 8a-4p (can be divided into 2 shifts – 08a-12p and 12-4p)
LACC (Downtown) M-F 10a-12p
SEP (Northridge) M-F 09a-12p
To do before your shift: complete the TMS Course: COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccinator Training (VA 43252) by logging onto TMS 2.0 SSO and searching the catalog for the module numbers. There is a brief post-test.
Bring: your badge, your PPE (mask/face shield; gloves provided), your stethoscope (in case of anaphylaxis), your covid-19 vaccine knowledge.
