U.S. Trade Show Mobile Application • Effective Date: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the U.S. Trade Show mobile application (the "App"), developed for the 30th U.S. Trade Show 2026, collects, uses, and protects your personal information. The event is organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and co-sponsored by the U.S. Embassy Dhaka.
When you register as an event visitor or delegate through the App, we collect the following details provided voluntarily by you:
Personal Information: Full Name.
Contact Details: Email address and mobile phone number (optional, with international dialing country code).
Professional Credentials: Company / Organization name and Job Designation.
Event Preferences: Selected Admission Pass type (Single Day Pass or Entire 3-Day Pass), visit date, and registered seminars.
What We DO NOT Collect:
No precise GPS location or background tracking.
No access to camera, microphone, photo library, or address book.
No financial or credit card information (admission to the trade show is 100% free).
No third-party advertising tracking (no IDFA or AAID collection).
Your data is processed strictly for official event execution:
Admission Badge Generation: Issuing your digital pass and unique gate entry QR code (TKT-XXXXXXXXX).
Ticket Delivery: Sending your entry pass confirmation to your email and entry SMS (if phone number is provided).
Gate Check-in: Scanning your ticket QR code at the venue entrance (InterContinental Dhaka).
Seminar Capacity: Managing seat capacity for seminars in the Crystal Ballroom.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with:
Event Co-Organizers: AmCham Bangladesh and the U.S. Embassy Dhaka for visitor auditing and venue security.
Infrastructure Providers: Secure cloud servers, transactional email, and SMS gateways bound by strict data confidentiality.
Legal Obligations: When strictly required by law or law enforcement authorities for event safety.
All data exchanged between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS / TLS encryption. Your digital ticket is also cached safely on your device storage for offline gate presentation.
You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time. To request data deletion, email our data team at faysal@amchambd.org or amchambd@amchambd.com. Requests are fulfilled within 30 days.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
