The Tzean Laboratory at National Taiwan University explores the intricate interactions between nematodes, plants, and the microbiome. Our research integrates molecular biology, multi-omics, epigenetics, and biotechnology to uncover the mechanisms driving nematode behavior, plant immunity, and nematophagous fungi predation. By bridging fundamental discoveries with applied innovations, we aim to develop biological control strategies, enhance crop resilience, and promote sustainable agriculture.
