Hello, my name is Ty Buechler, and in my new podcast, I get to talk about athletes and how their mental health issues are portrayed. For a long time now professional athletes have always been a figure that kids and some adults look up to because they seem to be invincible and have no weakness. But I am here to tell you that if you dig deep you can find plenty of athletes that you look up to have weaknesses and these weaknesses are not from being bad at the sport they play. These weaknesses come from the mind and can make players in any setting feel a certain way. We also get to talk about how the public and sports teams see these mental illnesses and how they affect the athletes' lives. From being a top 10 draft pick to being undrafted and how mental illnesses affect an athlete's game and relationship with teammates and coaches and how other athletes see mental health issues. Do they see them as weaknesses or another obstacle to get over to make it to the big leagues? You will have to listen to my podcast to find out more if you are interested in any of these topics.
