Research fields: 

Health economics: consumer response to health risk, socioeconomic gradients in health, health-wealth relationship, financial toxicity of medical treatment, and population health implications of government policy.

Behavioral finance / consumer finance: decision making under mental illness, inequality and consumption behavior, formation of consumer preferences, financial socialization, and financial literacy and education.

Research methods: 

Longitudinal data analysis, quasi-experimental research design, and modern methods of causal inference.
