The Dali Alive collection was inspired by Salvador Dali's work. I was very intrigued by how Dali addressed the human form. Sculpted leather in the form of a woman's torso was meant to mimic these works and brush strokes in his paintings. The collection opened with two looks that featured portraiture. The first had the classic Dali photo and the second was a Tyne Hall selfie; a nod to how omnipresent Dali's own image was. Soft meshes reflected the softness of the Dali sketches. When presented, stills from the movie Spellbound, were projected across the runway. This film was a Hitchcock film released on Halloween, 1945. Quite fitting for this brand.
