Service & Involvement

I've been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity since 2016 to help out with the construction of homes for people in need. I have learned many building and hands-on skills from my experience. I appreciate the opportunity to make a positive impact in my community and it is rewarding to see the direct impact of the work we do.

I served as a Commencement Marshal for the NC State winter graduation ceremony of 2017. I got this opportunity through the University Scholars Program that I am a part of and greatly enjoyed participating in the occasion!
