About me
About me
I grew up in a suburb outside of Boston. My passion for economics began in high school when I took a couple of classes from a fantastic young teacher named Mr. James Page. His enthusiasm for viewing the world as an economist was infectious and encouraged me to pursue advanced studies.Â
I delayed my graduate school plans after meeting an Australian woman during a semester abroad in London. I moved to Melbourne, Australia to live with her for several years before we married and returned to the states for my Ph.D. We now have two children.
I spend most of my free time with my kids, but I also enjoy soccer, astronomy, and game design: you can find several of my games here.
