Voicework I performed for Techbrawlogy: Into The RoboDome's playable character; Orrek.
Orrek is a very physically fit Orc who radiates the very feeling of "If it can bleed, it can also die." As the game's primary Brawler styled character, his attacks all persist of powerful punches and melee hits. He has the highest health out of all the characters, and can dish out damage just as well as he can take it.
My favourite voiceline to perform for Orrek's character was his classic: "IT'S HAMMER FIST TIME!" voiceline. It became a sort of running gag within the team after that point because it was just such a fun and memeable line.
Orrek is the easiest character to play out of the playable cast, as well as the first character seen when opening the character select, and as such, he's likely to be the character people play most. So having a loveable character with fun voice lines that don't feel too repetitive was important.
Ultimately, he was my favourite character to voice in the project, and I really feel like I managed to fill the role of that "Eats lead for breakfast, badass, unkillable weightlifter Orc" that Orrek really is. He's strong, he has a sense of comedy, and he loves destroying robots. He's a simple Orc, but that's why we love him.
Voicework I performed for Techbrawlogy: Into The RoboDome's final boss; Doctor Emperor Faustus.
Faustus is a prideful egotist, and self-proclaimed God who has created an army of robotic servants to carry out his bidding. Typical and classic villain stuff. I tried to really fulfill that sense of "I am better than you" feeling throughout his voicelines, and threw in several classic "Evil Villain" type laughs. Not very many voice lines were required of me for this role, but Faustus was an entertaining villain to provide my voice for nonetheless. When the music in the fight really gets going and players get invested, Faustus' voice really helps add to the experience.
