CEF 2025
(Coffee Excellence Framework 2025)
(Coffee Excellence Framework 2025)
While conferences are the lifeblood of the mathematics community, coffee is often the lifeblood of mathematicians.
This page aims to give mathematicians (or other researchers) across the UK a resource for finding good coffee near UK departments. I plan to add to this list as I visit universities or people tell me about their recommendations. If you have any that you think should be added to the list, let me know through this form so we can make this easier for visitors to all UK mathematics departments.
Rules:
Must be less than 15 minute walk from department.
Must be a reasonable cup of coffee.
Should not be a large national / international chain.
Please let me know if any place has any questionable working practices where one should not be frequenting the establishment.
