As a bassist Tyler has performed with the following ensembles: The 204th Army Band, the Disneyland College Band, the Central Oregon Symphony, the Oregon Jazz Ensemble, and for numerous musical production companies as a freelancer. He has also performed with the following artists and modern pop ensembles: Ron McCurdy, Greg Field, Steve Houghton, Sal Lazano, Jiggs Whigham, Wayne Bergeron, Mason Williams, Rod Degeorge (Guitar God's Review), Company Grand, High Street, and multiple other modern ensembles.
As a tubist, Tyler has performed with the 204th Army Band, the Eugene Symphony, the Oregon Mozart Players, the Central Oregon Symphony, the Corvallis Symphony, the Newport Symphony, and bands in Disneyland.
Awarded "Charlie 1" distinction on both bass and tuba from the Army School of Music
Served as musical director and conductor for productions of multiple musicals: Jesus Christ Superstar, Avenue Q, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Freaky Friday and Urinetown.
Has recorded, produced and/or arranged for the Corvallis Symphony, The Eugene Mozart Players, Mason Williams, Central Oregon Youth Orchestra, Oregon Basketball Band, Company Grand, Rod DeGeorge, and the Disneyland College Band.
Has served as conductor for the following ensembles: 204th Army Band, Oregon Wind Ensemble, High Desert Winds, Central Oregon Youth Orchestra, Central Oregon Honor Band, Oregon Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble.
