If you want a heavy-duty, high-pressure 90-degree connection for a turbocharged motorcycle intake or intercooler system, choose Tyeioms 90; if you need precise end-plugging for small vacuum lines, throttle bodies, or bypass valves on your bike, choose ASYXPCRH 2PCS. These are two distinct tools for very different jobs, and confusing them will lead to installation failures or safety hazards on the road.
• Tyeioms 90: The clear winner for high-flow air management with its massive 2-inch diameter and robust 4-layer reinforcement designed for extreme pressure scenarios.
• ASYXPCRH 2PCS: The specialist choice for sealing off small ports like vacuum lines and bypass valves, offering a compact 3/4-inch plug with adjustable length capabilities.
• Who it's for: Tyeioms is built for the builder upgrading their motorcycle's induction system, while ASYXPCRH fits the mechanic needing quick, secure seals on smaller coolant or air circuits.
• The Trade-off: You cannot use the Tyeioms elbow to cap a tiny port due to size mismatch, and the ASYXPCRH plugs lack the structural integrity to handle main turbo boost pressures.
The Tyeioms 90 Degree Elbow is engineered for one primary purpose: moving large volumes of air under significant stress without collapsing or leaking. This dimension is critical for motorcycle enthusiasts who have moved beyond factory restrictions and are installing aftermarket cold air intakes, turbochargers, or intercoolers where airflow volume directly impacts performance.
What sets this unit apart in a practical sense is its wall construction. In real-world terms, this means it can handle the spikes in pressure that occur during hard acceleration or when a turbocharger is spooling up. Standard silicone hoses often fail at these points because they cannot resist the outward force, leading to blowouts. The premium silicone material used here also offers an incredible temperature range, surviving from -60°C to 260°C (-140°F to 500°F). This thermal stability ensures that the component won't degrade or become brittle even after repeated heat cycles from the exhaust or the turbo itself.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the inclusion of two heavy-duty T-bolt clamps. Unlike spring clamps that can loosen over time due to vibration—a common issue on motorcycles—T-bolt clamps provide a uniform, crushing grip that resists loosening. However, there is a specific trade-off you must accept. Because this is a single-piece elbow with a fixed 90-degree angle and a 2-inch diameter, it is strictly a connector. It cannot be cut down, resized, or used as a seal. If your application requires capping off a line rather than connecting two pipes, this product is the wrong tool.
You should skip this product if you are working on a small displacement engine that does not utilize forced induction, or if you simply need to seal off a 3/4-inch vacuum port. Trying to adapt a 2-inch fitting to a smaller line is impossible without major modification, and the cost of the unit makes it overkill for basic maintenance tasks. This is a performance part, not a general-purpose utility item.

The ASYXPCRH 2PCS set serves a completely different niche in the automotive and motorcycle world: sealing and protecting open ports. These are not connectors for moving air from point A to point B; they are end caps designed to stop flow entirely. This size is ubiquitous in cooling systems, vacuum lines, and throttle body water ports. If you have a motorcycle with a liquid-cooled engine or a complex turbo setup with multiple bypass valves, you likely have several of these small ports that need to be blocked off during modifications or repairs. The fact that the package includes two pieces means you can tackle multiple ports in a single job, which is convenient for comprehensive tuning sessions.
One of the most useful features of these caps is their versatility regarding length. This is a massive advantage for custom builds where clearance is tight or where the port sits at an odd angle. You can trim the excess material to ensure a flush fit without leaving protruding rubber that might snag on other components. Like the Tyeioms elbow, these are made from 4-ply reinforced silicone, ensuring durability against the elements. They offer a temperature resistance range of -76°F to 500°F, which covers the vast majority of operating conditions for any modern vehicle or motorcycle engine bay.
However, the pressure rating reveals the limit of this product. While the Tyeioms unit handles 2MPA, the ASYXPCRH caps are rated between 0.3MPA and 0.9MPA. This lower threshold is perfectly fine for vacuum lines, coolant return loops, and low-pressure air vents, but it indicates that these are not intended for the high-pressure side of a turbo system. Attempting to use these as main intake connections would risk catastrophic failure under boost. They are equipped with clamps to ensure a strong seal, but the primary function is static sealing rather than dynamic flow management.
You should skip this product if you are looking for a connector to join two pipes together. These are strictly end plugs. They will not allow you to create a junction or a bend in your piping system. Additionally, if your plumbing requires a larger diameter than 3/4-inch, these will simply not fit. They are specialized tools for finishing touches and port protection, not for building the core of an air induction system.
• Best for High-Pressure Boost → Tyeioms 90, with a 2MPA rating that dwarfs the competition.
• Best for Small Port Sealing → ASYXPCRH 2PCS, specifically designed for 3/4-inch vacuum and coolant lines.
• Best for Airflow Volume → Tyeioms 90, with its massive 2-inch ID allowing unrestricted air passage.
• Best for Custom Lengths → ASYXPCRH 2PCS, which can be trimmed to fit awkward spaces perfectly.
• Best for Turbo Interconnects → Tyeioms 90, built to bridge gaps in high-performance intake runs.
• Best for Vacuum/Throttle Mods → ASYXPCRH 2PCS, ideal for capping unused ports on throttle bodies.
• Best for Temperature Stability → Both are excellent, but Tyeioms has a slightly wider absolute range starting from -60°C.
• Best Value for Multiple Ports → ASYXPCRH 2PCS, as it provides two units for sealing various small openings.
When deciding between these two, think about the geometry of your project. Are you trying to route air around an obstacle, or are you trying to close off a hole? The Tyeioms 90 is a bridge; the ASYXPCRH is a doorstop. Confusing the two leads to immediate incompatibility. If you are building a custom motorcycle intake manifold, you need the Tyeioms. If you are cleaning up a messy engine bay by plugging loose vacuum lines, you need the ASYXPCRH.
In my opinion, neither product is universally "better" because they solve opposite problems. However, if I had to choose one for a serious motorcycle build focused on performance, I would buy the Tyeioms 90. Its ability to handle high boost pressures and facilitate high-volume airflow makes it a critical component for any turbocharged or supercharged setup. It transforms a collection of pipes into a functional, high-efficiency system. The ASYXPCRH caps are necessary accessories, but they are secondary to the main airflow path. For a motorcycle enthusiast looking to upgrade their ride for power and reliability, the Tyeioms 90 is the foundational piece that enables the rest of the system to work correctly.
No, the ASYXPCRH caps have a maximum pressure rating of 0.9MPA, which is insufficient for the high pressures found in turbocharged intake systems. Use the Tyeioms 90 for those applications instead.
No, the Tyeioms 90 comes with two adjustable heavy-duty T-bolt clamps included in the package, so you have everything needed for a secure installation right out of the box.
Yes, both products are designed with wide temperature ranges. The Tyeioms 90 handles temperatures down to -140°F, and the ASYXPCRH caps go down to -76°F, ensuring they remain flexible and effective in freezing conditions.
It is not recommended to cut the Tyeioms 90 elbow. It is a molded 90-degree piece with a fixed 4-inch leg length designed for specific routing. Cutting it could compromise the structural integrity and the shape of the bend.
