In this project we will be making a short documentary that makes use of techniques commonly found in the factual genre, along with practicing our interveiw technqiues and edit styles.

We had to come up with three ideas each, for this i worked with Donovan as we planned to do the project together to makxaamise the quality on the final outcome.

This is the treatment for the documentary, featuring all the relevant information regarding the project.

Reserch Report

For this project we had to write an extended research report on documentary, the styles, and on our specific subject area. The essay clocked in at a final of just under 3000 words and details the history of the DEPG and insight into the modes of documentary. Below the literature reveiw can be seen.

I have enjoyed this project overall and think that it is one of my strongest projects yet and is a good reflection of my non fiction filmmaking skills.
