Week One
High key lighting is a photography technique that casts minimal shadows on the subject and keeps them in a smoothly lit environment. Its commonly used in fashion photos and product photos as it has associations with purity and a simplistic atmosphere. Unfortunately i wasn't in on the day this was done, but the photos were graciously given to me by the others
This week we did low key lighting and looked at the andy worhol effect, this was so we could use these as buisness pictures if we wanted to.
This week we experimented with a technique called Boke. This is where a piece of card with a shape is held in front of the lens to make the lights in shot form into shapes. We used a few of the pre cut shapes, but also made some of our own as well.
