Halloween Potluck
TYAPN kicked off the new school year with a fresh leadership team and a fun-filled event: Halloween Potluck! TYAPN held a spooky-themed potluck on Halloween night. On Halloween night, families presented their creative dishes at the potluck. Officers were free to choose the food that most appealed to them, and that was a time when creativity shined at the event went beyond entertainment.
All the dishes were enjoyable and meant more than just the food itself; the Halloween potluck was about celebrating holiday together with TYAPN community in a more engaging way. To expand this sense of belonging, TYAPN genuinely invites you to celebrate more holidays and accomplishments with us in the future. We sincerely invite you to join TYAPN now!
Winter Retreat
Let us introduce you to the most exciting internal bonding event of the year, the TYAPN 2024 winter retreat! After three months into the school year, officers of TYAPN have developed considerable familiarity with each other. To further intensify the relationship between TYAPN families and incoming officers, the project team led TYAPN to peaceful Camano Island. On the three-day trip, we were pleased by unreal sunsets, relaxing beach walks, kayaking, and lots of joy during activities with TYAPN officers and friends at the waterfront. The evenings were lit with a bonfire party where everyone roasted marshmallows and shared stories. We cooked together like a spirited master chef competition, adding a flavor of teamwork and creativity.
Throughout the retreat, the project team developed storylines that introduced a trust crisis among peers, further bonding us as we navigated these challenges together. It was a success. We would love to have you become a part of our memory next winter. Hope to see you soon!
Spring Retreat
Following the success of the Winter Retreat that strengthen our connections together, we continued our efforts to establish another major internal bonding event to kick-off with Spring: Spring Retreat! TYAPN found spring retreat even more flourishing, we had a three-day road trip from campus to central Washington. Along with series of group recreation activities arranged by the project team, every individual at the log house was delighted, and the contentment continued throughout the nights. As night time brought people closer, meal preparation teams put their creativity in serving heartwarming meals for everyone. The handmade dumplings represents unity and Asian culinary art within TYAPN community. The hide and seek game concluded our second night. With a combination of nerve and excitement, the team collaborated to come up with the most unexpected hiding spots. Particularly in an atmosphere of mystery, seekers hold flickering candles in search of talent hiders in dark and unfamiliar surroundings.
Spring retreat was brought to an end with a quick visit to Leavenworth, a charming town known for its German architecture. Walking down to the main street of Leavenworth, we had a lot of fun in antique stores and shared satisfaction with delicious ice cream scoops. TYAPN looks forward to enjoying more unforgettable memories with all these compassionate officers next year, we genuinely invite you to join our community and create a better TYAPN!
