The Ultimate Gymnastics Team is part of the AAU and USAG Competitive programs.
Tryouts will include evaluations on all apparatus and are open to all girls in grades K and up (going into Kindergarten for the fall session)
Please understand that this is a try-out. Not every child will be selected for our team; however, we will make sure each child feels special and has fun during the try-out process
We welcome athletes to Ultimate Gymnastics throughout the year, depending on where we are in the competitive season, and if we have any spots.
Open Tryouts are closed for the 2026-2027 Season, however individual evaluations may still be avilable. Please email Deb@ultimate-kids.com
General Information regarding team tryouts and the Girls Competitive team
For Evaluations:
Bring a water bottle, as we do not have a water fountain. We have a water bottle filling station.
Parents can sit and watch
Outcomes from Tryouts:
2) Invitation to join a Competitive level, or
3) Suggestions for recreation level and skills to improve, with the option to try out in the future.
Evaluations will be held to evaluate athletes on natural skills, Flexibility, Conditioning, and Basic gymnastic skills.

Parents will be asked to fill some paperwork that will ensure that we have all of the correct contact information. There will also be a time for questions, if needed.

Once evaluations are complete- parents will be notified via email by April 5th with the results and further information.
Athletes that are invited to join the team will start at 4 hours /week or more with in the team training depending on age and level, and how they progress determines how they transition from one set of hours/levels to another.
Cost:
Team Tuition is based on the number of hours. The more hours the less for each hour. (ex- subject to change: 1 hr/week=117/month; 2 hours/week=$164month; 3 hours/week=$188/month, etc..) The tuition is paid to the Ultimate Kids Office on a monthly basis.
Being part of a team also involves assessment fees that are paid to the Triad Youth Athletes Association (TYAA). The parent board that helps with fundraisers, organize competitions, competition apparel, social events and more. These assessment fees are based upon the competition schedule.
