My name is Matthew Gerard Telepak, and I’m a newly ordained wedding minister with a deep passion for helping couples begin their journey together in love and commitment.
For the past 28 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an educator in the Texas school system—as a teacher, administrator, and leader across public, private, and charter schools. That journey has shaped who I am today. Throughout my career, I’ve been known for my calm demeanor, thoughtful listening, and ability to build lasting relationships. These qualities have allowed me to guide, support, and uplift those around me—and now, I bring that same heart and dedication to officiating weddings.
My personal journey also inspires the work I do. My wife and I, both in our second marriages, have been together for 22 wonderful years. We have a blended family of two daughters and four sons, and we’re proud grandparents to a granddaughter and two grandsons. Our life isn’t perfect—we’ve faced our share of trials—but we laugh often, love deeply, and never take each other for granted.
It’s that enduring love, tested and strengthened over time, that I want to share with others. I want couples—whether just starting out or finding love again—to feel the same hope and connection that I’ve been blessed with. Being part of someone’s new beginning is a true honor, and I can’t think of a more meaningful way to give back than by officiating the sacred moment two people choose to say, "I do."
Here’s to love, new chapters, and a lifelong journey together.
