Two Pooches and a Poop

I love following accounts on Instagram that share their favourite finds and favourite products. In fact, I'm likely every marketer's dream customer because my purchases are more often than not based on recommendations I've seen on social media.

I was a beauty therapist before I was a teacher so admittedly I have an unapologetic obsession with all things 'beauty' and I like to consider myself discerning. And as an English teacher, I love to write.

I had been feeling restless for a while - in search of a creative outlet - and one day during my endless scrolling I happened to stumble across the hashtag #flatlayphotography.

I started following accounts that created beautiful flatlays and began dabbling in creating my own. That is when I realised I could combine my love of all things beautiful and share my experiences with awesome products and small businesses with others too.

I began creating my own flatlays on Instagram and sharing about products and businesses there, so I thought I'd create a space where I could wax lyrical about these things. So, here you will find me sharing about places and things I love and some fabulous finds, and on occasion flexing my English teacher muscles while sharing my musings about life, love and everything in between.

And what about the name?

Well, my significant other affectionately (or so I'm led to believe) refers to me as Poop - a term of endearment, if you will. And this year we rescued two furbabies - Herbie and Luca - and so the name was imagined!
